Hey I'm Matt. I’m a Gold Coast-based photographer with a passion for capturing life’s most genuine moments. My journey into photography started back in 2011, inspired by good mates and bodyboarding along the stunning coastline of Northern NSW. Before I knew it, I found myself more captivated by the lens than the waves, falling in love with surf and landscape photography.
Fast forward to 2016, everything changed—beautifully—with the birth of my first son. My weekends in the surf were traded for something even more meaningful: documenting the precious moments of my growing family. By 2019, with the arrival of my second boy, my passion for portrait and family photography had truly flourished. That said, I still love sneaking away to chase sunrises and sunsets.
In 2020, I discovered my true calling—wedding photography. There’s nothing quite like the joy of connecting with couples, sharing their stories, and capturing the magic of one of the most important days of their lives. I thrive on preserving those natural, candid moments that truly reflect the love and energy of the day.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me at the beach with my wife and two wild little boys or training for my next marathon. Whether it’s weddings, family portraits, or spontaneous adventures, I’m all about turning authentic, heartfelt connections into timeless memories.
